Visiting professor/researcher

Il visiting professor /researcher descrive professori o ricercatori che sono invitati da un'università a insegnare o svolgere attività di ricerca per un periodo limitato, di solito da qualche mese a un anno.

I bandi per visiting professor/researcher sono finanziati annualmente da UdA per attrarre esperti internazionali in specifici ambiti disciplinari e scientifici per rafforzare i legami internazionali e contribuire alla qualità accademica e scientifica dell’Università d’Annunzio.

Il bando per "visiting professor" offre la possibilità di:

·       Insegnare: il visiting professor può essere invitato a tenere corsi (seminari, lezioni, workshop) nell'ambito del proprio campo di competenza.

·       Fare ricerca: svolgere attività di ricerca, collaborando con docenti e ricercatori locali, partecipando a progetti di ricerca.

Il visiting professor è invitato da un docente “proponente”, il quale presenta domanda, in risposta al bando pubblicato sul sito di Ateneo alla pagina  Visiting Professor.

UdA ed il DiPSI incoraggiano le attività di didattica e/o ricerca presso le sedi di Chieti e di Pescara di Visiting professor/researcher anche attraverso altre forme di finanziamento.

The Visiting Professor/Researcher refers to professors or researchers who are invited by a university to teach and/or carry out research activities for a limited period of time, usually ranging from a few months to one year.

Calls for Visiting Professors/Researchers are funded annually by the University “G. d’Annunzio” of Chieti–Pescara (UdA) with the aim of attracting international experts in specific disciplinary and scientific fields, strengthening international collaborations, and enhancing the academic and scientific quality of the University.

The Visiting Professor call offers the opportunity to:

·       Teach: Visiting Professors may be invited to deliver courses, seminars, lectures, or workshops within their field of expertise.

·       Conduct research: Visiting Professors may carry out research activities in collaboration with local faculty members and researchers, and participate in ongoing research projects.

Visiting Professors are invited by a proposing faculty member, who submits an application in response to the call published on the University website under the Visiting Professor section.

UdA and the Department of Psychological Sciences (DiPSI) also encourage teaching and/or research activities at the Chieti and Pescara campuses by Visiting Professors/Researchers through additional funding schemes.
